What Should I TiVo?

So it’s a new TV season, but my TiVo “Now Playing” list looks the same as ever. Nanny 911 is fun when you’re watching it with your sweetie, but, now that I’m sweetie-less, perhaps I need a little somehting with some explosions in it. Or some taut drama. Or, perhaps, good laughs. So, what do you like this year? What Season Passes should I add to my TiVo?

Do you mean “Bones” :http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0460627/, starring David Boreanaz and Zooey Deschanel’s sister Emily as a forensic anthropologist?
I could do that, Zooey is pretty darned adorable.

    a) We had lunch sitting right next to Zooey and Emily at Mani’s this summer. LA is so FAB. b) Sweetie-less means LESS tivo, not more. I’ve walked around the USC campus, dude… c) netflix, netflix, netflix.

Incidentally, the first episode of Bones was *awful*. And yes, I am entirely sweetie-less.

Head Cases was awful, too. (I see so many obvious casting mistakes in movies and TV these days, it makes me think about a career in that direction.) My Name is Earl was pretty good… on the one hand, it’s a one-joke premise; on the other, they can keep it fresh if they are creative enough with “the list”.

Did you read that Head Cases was cancelled?
Hmm, Head Cases and 20-year-old PYTs… I’m starting to doubt your judgement here, Vance ‘ol boy.

I said it was awful, didn’t I?!? The only reason we were watching was for the Dorothy appearance.
