One way to create voice memos on the iPhone
“If you call AT&T’s voicemail directly, you can enter your phone number and leave a message for yourself.” I don’t have visual voicemail on my Treo, but I can call myself and leave a message — not a bad idea!

Making Happy
Looks about right to me! I’ll try to do all of these tomorrow. I can guarantee at least one of them (“do not accept defeat” is a pretty common theme for me these days).

“The Old Masters of painting spent years of their lives learning about color. Why let all their effort go to waste on the walls of some museum when it could be used to give you a hand with color correction?”

How to Use Your Smartphone, Pocket PC, or Palm to Manage Your Tasks
An article going around the blogosphere about how to set up your GTD system. Mirrors a lot of what I do, which of course makes me feel great! At any rate, it works well for me.

A Guy's Guide to Denim
Sure, it’s a sales piece from the Gap, but it gives you tips on how to put a few of the season’s styles together. A hot fashion tip is to subscribe to the sales newsletters put out by a few stores you like to shop at; they’ll show you a few new looks every week or month, and you can try to duplicate some with your existing wardrobe and think about a few new items that you could use. “Chisenbop is a method of doing basic arithmetic using your fingers. It is attributed to the Korean tradition, but it is probably extremely old, as the soroban and abacus use very similar methods. Probably these other devices were derived from finger counting.”

Caring for Your Introvert
“Do you know someone who needs hours alone every day? Who loves quiet conversations about feelings or ideas, and can give a dynamite presentation to a big audience, but seems awkward in groups and maladroit at small talk? Who has to be dragged to parties and then needs the rest of the day to recuperate? Who growls or scowls or grunts or winces when accosted with pleasantries by people who are just trying to be nice?”
